SIKESTON -- Mr. and Mrs. Joe Childress have announced the engagement of their daughter, Stephanie Lynn Childress, to Tim Sigman Jr., son of Tim Sigman Sr. of Arnold and Dawn Heigel of Mehlville.
A 1999 graduate of Sikeston Senior High School, the future bride is a hair designer for the J.C. Penney Salon in Cape Girardeau.
The prospective bridegroom graduated in 1999 from Fox High School in Arnold and expects to receive a degree in criminal justice in December from Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. He is employed by Cape Electric in Cape Girardeau.
Wedding plans are under way for an April 3, 2004, wedding.
