Marguerite Hayden

PARK RIDGE, Ill. - Marguerite Heath Hayden, 88, formerly of Sikeston, Mo., died April 8, 2002, at the Lutheran General Hospital in Park Ridge.

Born Oct. 16, 1913, at Repton, Ky., daughter of the late William and Linnie M. Ritch Heath, she was a sales associate and buyer for Marshall Field Department Stores in Chicago for many years. She was a member of the Park Ridge First United Methodist Church.

On April 22, 1931, in Wickliffe, Ky., she married James H. Hayden Jr. who preceded her in death on Dec. 6, 1995.

Survivors include: one son, John David Hayden of Des Plains; one daughter, Rita Traversone of Chicago; two sisters, Betty Mitchell of Sikeston and Mary E. Diehl of Waterloo; and three grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.

One brother also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Friday until service time at 1 p.m. at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston. The Rev. Sandy Schaller, associate pastor of the First United Methodist Church in Sikeston, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery in Sikeston.
