Judith Irby

EAST PRAIRIE - Judith Ann Irby, 61, died at 7:52 a.m. April 17, 2002, at the East Prairie Nursing Center.

Born Nov. 11, 1940, in East Prairie, daughter of the late Jimmy D. and Thelma Lou Allen Smith Morgan, she lived in East Prairie most of her life.

Survivors include: two sons, Tedie Hill and Kenneth Lee Irby of East Prairie; three daughters, Deborah Mayabb, Susan Hill and Cheryl Irby of East Prairie; three brothers, Willie Smith of LaPuente, Calif., Dewey Smith of Buena Park, Calif., and Jimmy Smith of El Dorado Springs; two sisters, Myrtle Smith of East Prairie and Glenda Scheffer of Apple Valley, Calif.; and 11 grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

One son, one brother and two sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 11 a.m. Friday until service time at 1 p.m. at Shelby Funeral Home.

Burial will follow in the Dogwood Cemetery near East Prairie.
