Deborah Bowman

ZALMA - Deborah Diane Bowman, 47, died April 16, 2002, at the Advance Nursing Center.

Born Aug. 15, 1954, in Advance, daughter of Glenn and Shirley Kennedy Ladd of Zalma, she was a medical records secretary for the Community Counseling Center in Marble Hill and member of the Zalma General Baptist Church.

On Oct. 18, 1975, at Zalma, she married Tommy Bowman who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: two sons, Chris Bowman of Sturdivant and Geoffrey Bowman of Zalma; one brother, Jerrell Ladd of Advance; two sisters, Patty Bitterman of Advance and Phyllis Rutherford of Sturdivant; and one granddaughter, Sara Bowman of Sturdivant.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Thursday with the Rev. Keith Price, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Balch Cemetery near Zalma.
