Dorothy Link

BLOOMFIELD - Dorothy Link, 76, died Sept. 11, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Oct. 26, 1925, near Aid, daughter of the late Walter A. and Armitte Wren Shrum, she was a lifelong resident of Stoddard County and member of the Church of Christ.

On July 3, 1943, she married Calvin C. Link who preceded her in death on Feb. 28, 1981.

Survivors include: five daughters, Virginia Bradley of Charleston, Virgie Geeding and Marilyn Schulte of Troy and Beverly Mangrum and Lesa Link of Bloomfield; three sons, James Link of Troy, Joe Link of Bloomfield and Johnny Link of Silex; one sister, Nellie Wampler of Moline, Ill.; and 20 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded by three children, Marsha Henson, Patsy Creech and an infant child.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Saturday. Bill Bradley of Charleston and Dale Grissom of Dexter will officiate.

Burial will follow in the North Antioch Cemetery near Bloomfield.
