Katie Parr

BENTON - Mary Katlyn Clara "Katie" Parr, 8-week-old daughter of George Arthur Parr III and Darlla Jean Eschman Jines of Benton, died at 5:31 a.m. Nov. 15, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau. She was born Sept. 18, 2003, in Sikeston.

Survivors in addition to her parents include: one brother, Clay Wayne Jines of Belleville, Ill.; two sisters, Tesla Parr of Benton and Shaylynn Sky Henson of Naylor; paternal grandparents, Robert L. and Rebecca J. Tracy of Springfield; maternal grandparents, Beverly Jean Lurf of Hesperia, Calif., and Gary John Eschman of Lexington, Ky.; paternal great-grandmothers, Mary Lou McCormick of Bodgett and Naomi E. Lee of Cape Girardeau; and several aunts, uncles and cousins.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. until noon Tuesday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel in Sikeston.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston. The Rev. Scott Sutton, pastor of New Life Ministry in New Madrid, will officiate.
