Shirley Ripperdan

SIKESTON - Shirley Gene Ripperdan, 65, formerly of East Prairie and Clinton, Ky., died at 4:10 p.m. March 6, 2002, at the Sikeston Health Care.

Born April 14, 1936, in East Prairie, son of the late Muriel Ripperdan Cole and stepson of the late Sam Cole, he was a retired truck driver. He was raised in the Dorena and Wolf Island communities before moving to Kentucky, where he lived most of his life. He had resided at Sikeston Health Care since 1984.

Aunts, uncles and cousins survive.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Monday at East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery. Burl Britt, of the Full Gospel Church of East Prairie, will officiate.

Shelby Funeral Home of East Prairie is in charge of arrangements.
