CHARLESTON - Mable Lene Brown Hart, 80, died March 6, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Oct. 8, 1921, in Lee County, Ark., daughter of the late James and Aletha King Mack, she lived in Missouri most of her life. She was a member of the Ollie Grove Baptist Church in Wyatt, where she served as president of the Usher Board, treasurer of the Benevolent Fund and member of the Mother's Board.

She was preceded in death by her husbands, Willie Lee Brown, Chris Jones and John Hart; and one son, one daughter, two brothers and one sister.

Survivors include: two sons, Ronald Brown of Flint, Mich., and Alvester Brown of Milwaukee, Wis.; three daughters, Ruby Dixon and Virginia Clark of Flint and Earnestine Chappell of Charleston; four brothers, James Mack and L.C. Mack of St. Louis, Prince Ollie Mack of Bowling Green, Ky., and Isaiah Mack of Detroit, Mich.; one sister, Earlene Davis of Detroit; and several grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.

Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. today at Ollie Grove Baptist Church with the Rev. Melvin Williams officiating.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery near Charleston.
