Lottie Harkness

ACORN RIDGE - Lottie Harkness, 94, died Feb. 18, 2002, at Missouri Southern Healthcare.

Born Nov. 1, 1907, near Puxico, daughter of the late Andrew Jackson and Alice Hodge Baker, she was a lifelong resident of Stoddard County and moved to Acorn Ridge in 1962.

On Dec. 12, 1955, at Rockford, Ill., she married Lamar Harkness who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one stepdaughter, April Lovell, address unavailable; and five grandchildren, nine great-grandchildren and four great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, W.J. Crutchfield; and one stepdaughter, Judy Finch.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Wednesday with Dale Grissom of Dexter, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
