Daisy Hobbs

PORTAGEVILLE - Daisy Maria Hobbs, 46, died March 12, 2002, at her home.

Born Sept. 16, 1955, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of Luella Cravens Hobbs of Portageville and the late Stowell Hobbs, she was a member of St. Eustachius Catholic Church.

Other survivors include: five brothers, George Hobbs and Bill Hobbs of Oran, Stowell Hobbs of Charleston, Mike Allgier of Portageville and David Allgier of Union City, Tenn.; and three sisters, Ann Jane Crockett and Linda Thurman of New Madrid and Anna Catherine Long of Portageville.

Visitation begins at 5 p.m. Thursday at DeLisle Funeral Home, where a prayer service is scheduled for 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10:30 a.m. Friday at St. Eustachius Catholic Church with the Rev. Hank Grodecki officiating.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
