SIKESTON - Annell L. Jones, 92, died at 9:14 a.m. June 11, 2003, at the Miner Nursing Center.
Born April 12, 1911, in Marion County, Ala., son of the late Charley W. and Autie Nelson Lambert, she was a member of Shady Acres Church of Christ.
On Feb. 13, 1927, in Winston County, Ala., she married William W. Jones who preceded her in death on Oct. 4, 1995.
Survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, Thaaron Gene and Phyllis Jones of Sikeston; three brothers, Lecil Lambert, Buddy Lambert and Doyle Lambert of Sikeston; two sisters, Maxine White of Wynn, Ark., and Lugenia Bass of Santa Ana, Calif.; three grandchildren, Bill Jones of Sikeston, Brenda Toschi of Madera, Calif., and Johnny Jones of Tucson, Ariz.; two stepgrandchildren, Jimmy Gregg and Robby Gregg of Utah; and four great-grandchildren and two stepgreat-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by one son, William D. Jones; two brothers and two sisters.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be held at 10 a.m. Saturday. Pat Hogan, minister of Shady Acres Church of Christ, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Garden of Memories Cemetery.
Pallbearers will be: Bill Jones, Doug Lambert, Steve Lambert, Billy Littleton, Jerry Kelley and Chester Bell.
