Brae McKinney

SIKESTON - Brae Shondell McKinney, 22, died May 22, 2003, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident near Carlisle, Ark.

Born Oct. 19, 1980, in Hayti, son of Carol McKinney and Sammy Triblett of Sikeston, he attended New Madrid County Central High School. He had been employed by Ryan's Family Steakhouse and was a member of the Cornerstone Baptist Church in Sikeston.

Survivors in addition to his parents include: one son, Braeshaun Michael McKinney of Sikeston; two sisters, Farnesha Triblett of Sikeston and Salinda Kelley of Orlando, Fla.; three brothers, Kendrick McKinney of Marston and Sammy McKinney and Rodrickus Triblett of Sikeston; his maternal grandparents, Mon Willer McKinney of Marston and Robert McKinney of Portageville; his paternal grandparents, Willie Mae Triblett of Sikeston and Ezell Triblett of St. Louis; and his fiancee, Tracy Mallory of Sikeston.

Services are scheduled for noon Saturday at Cornerstone Baptist Church with the Rev. Joe L. Nabors, pastor, officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.

Williams-Farr and Purnell Funeral Home of Sikeston is in charge of arrangements.
