SIKESTON - Evelyn Taylor, 82, died Dec. 20, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.
Born Aug. 22, 1920, in Charleston, daughter of the late Luther Roy and Alpha Elizabeth Baker, she was a member of Fellowship Baptist Church.
On May 4, 1938, she married Clay Taylor who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: one son, David Clay Taylor of Lathrop, Calif.; one daughter, Elizabeth A. Prince of Sonora, Calif.; one brother, Marion Luther Baker of Rossville, Tenn.; two sisters, Judith B. Burnett and Doris Livingston of Sikeston; and four grandchildren and nine great-
grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by two sisters, Mildred N. Thrower and Nina Kathleen Baker.
Services are scheduled for 2 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Joe McCullough, pastor of Fellowship Baptist Church, will officiate.
Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery in Sikeston.
Pallbearers will be: John Wayne Newman, Duane Anderson, Roy Watkins, Carl Vogle, Gary Etes and Travis Cox.
