SIKESTON - Glen Williams, son of Mr. and Mrs. Eli Williams, who enlisted in the Naval Air Force, reported Sunday to Lambert Field in St. Louis. SIKESTON - One of the largest - perhaps the largest - aircraft to land at the Sikeston airport brought representatives here yesterday to the second annual stockholders meeting of the SeMo Liquid Fertilizers Inc. The huge craft is the Catalina Flying Boat which has a 105-foot wingspread and weighs 32,000 pounds.

VANDUSER - In a gesture of friendship, a small group of individuals from Vanduser thought it would be nice to repay some of the love and friendship to less fortunate elderly Vanduser citizens. They prepared 27 baskets which contained a variety of canned goods and a chicken. Some of the volunteers were Bob Winters, Betty Chapman, Elve Johnson, Dale Keith, Shirley Winters, Sharon Brown and Donnie Chapman.

SIKESTON - The 1992 Mr. and Mrs. Tiny Tot are Cody Ryan and Amanda Suzanne Abner. Second alternates are Jessica Eftink and Jeffery Beeson; and first alternates are Dempsey Ray Williams Jr. and Megan Miller.

SIKESTON - Sikeston Community Choir founder Gordon Beaver and members of the group practiced in the Sikeston High School music classroom before taking to the Field House stage Sunday. During an intermission, the choir, in its 25th year, received recognition on the local, state and national levels.
