Clara Enderle

CHAFFEE - Clara Caroline Enderle, 88, died at 5:20 p.m. Oct. 27, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Feb. 12, 1915, in Chaffee, daughter of the late Killian and Ida Heisserer Glueck, she was a member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church, Daughters of St. Ambrose and VFW Post 3127 Ladies Auxiliary in Chaffee.

On Feb. 19, 1946, she married Herbert P. Enderle who preceded her in death on Aug. 15, 1974.

Survivors include: one son, Richard Enderle of Chaffee; three daughters and sons-in-law, Dorothy and Paul Brown of Jackson and Larry and Marilyn Mott and Alvin and Betty Vandeven of Chaffee; 10 grandchildren, Tony Enderle of Mooresville, N.C., Tim Enderle of Statesville, N.C., Tom Enderle of Oran, Gretchen Lindsey of Salem, Leslie Watkins of Jackson, Jason Mott of Nashville, Tenn., and Amanda Mott, Renee Burnett, Jeremy Vandeven and Jennifer Vandeven of Chaffee; and three great-grandchildren, Cody Enderle of Mooresville and Ethan Thomason and Allie Burnett of Chaffee.

Three brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Thursday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where parish prayers at 7 p.m. will be followed by a Knights of Columbus Council 4311 rosary at 7:15 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Friday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the Rev. Ralph Duffner officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Ambrose Catholic Cemetery in Chaffee.
