Dora Grady

DEXTER - Dora Marine Grady, 87, died May 27, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Jan. 22, 1916, in Arkansas, daughter of the late Thomas Nadell and Nancy Brewer Hopper, she was of the Baptist belief.

On Feb. 16, 1952, at Flint, Mich., she married Chester Paul Grady who preceded her in death on March 11, 1986.

Survivors include: two sons, Gary Grady of Dexter and Verlon Grady of Woodstock, Ga.; one daughter, Shirley Wood of Dexter; and 11 grandchildren, 15 great-grandchildren and one great-great-grandchild.

Two sisters, Ethel Eastep and Ava Gilmore, also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter, where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Saturday. The Rev. Lester Clayton will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bloomfield Cemetery.
