Ruth Butler

LILBOURN - Ruth Lorene McCain Butler, 52, died June 2, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

She was born June 13, 1950, in Lilbourn to the late Ed and Vosie McCain.

In May 1980, she married Steven Butler, who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Daisy Ann Passmore of Lilbourn and Frances Butler of the home; three brothers, Wayne McCain, James McCain and Jim McCain of Lilbourn; and two sisters, Annie Cathey of Lilbourn and Susie Graham of Morehouse.

Visitation will be from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Thursday. The Rev. Ray Willford of Mayflower, Ark., will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Mounds Park Cemetery.
