Lawrence Flowers
PARMA - Lawrence Henry Flowers, 72, died Aug. 11, 2003, at his home near Parma.
Born April 5, 1931, in Steele, son of the late Henry and Bertie DePriest Flowers, he lived in the Parma area since 1979 and was a self-employed carpenter.
On March 19, 1976, in Cairo, Ill., he married Connie Simon who survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two sons, Michael Flowers of Gardner, Kan., and James Moore of Parma; three daughters, Sharon Hills of Poplar Bluff, Debra Johnson of Parma and Amanda Flowers Clark of Campbell; five brothers, Freddie Cecil of Poplar Bluff, Jimmy Cecil of Steele and Claude Flowers, Berry Cecil and Dean Cecil of Campbell; and eight grandchildren and three great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from noon Thursday until service time at 1 p.m. at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Parma. Rick Holden will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Parma Cemetery.
