Saline Heisserer

CHAFFEE - Frances Saline Heisserer, 81, died at 3 a.m. March 13, 2003, at her home.

Born May 25, 1921, in Trimble, Tenn., daughter of the late Ben and Zoe Medlin, she retired as president of Heisserer Oil Company in Chaffee. A member of St. Ambrose Catholic Church and the Daughters of St. Ambrose, she was also a member of American Legion Post 389 Ladies Auxiliary and helped St. Ambrose School for many years.

On Sept. 24, 1947, she married Glennon "Bud" Heisserer who preceded her in death on July 10, 1975.

Survivors include: five sons, David "Skip" Heisserer and John Paul Heisserer of Cape Girardeau, Michael Heisserer and Mark Heisserer of Chaffee and Daniel Heisserer of Tampa, Fla.; two daughters, Paula Calvert of Highland, Ill., and Rebecca Heisserer of Memphis, Tenn.; and 10 grandchildren.

Two brothers and three sisters also preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 4:30 p.m. Friday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where parish prayers are scheduled for 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Saturday at St. Ambrose Catholic Church with the Rev. Ralph Duffner and Monsignor William Stanton officiating.

Burial will follow in Memorial Park Cemetery at Cape Girardeau.

Pallbearers will be: David "Skip" Heisserer, Michael Heisserer, Mark Heisserer, John Heisserer, Daniel Heisserer, Nicholas Neisserer, Jed Heisserer and Benjamin Shea.
