Linda Fulkerson

DEXTER - Linda Lou Carney Fulkerson, 55, died June 17, 2002, at the Beverly Health and Rehabilitation Center in Dexter.

Born April 8, 1941, at Poplar Bluff, daughter of Alice Carney of Dexter and the late James H. Carney, she was a member of the First General Baptist Church in Dexter.

On Nov. 2, 1994, at Pocahontas, Ark., she married Richard Spencer Fulkerson who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two daughters, Shonda Pierce and Tonya Michael of Springfield; two brothers, James D. Carney and Kenneth Carney of Dexter; three sisters, Phyllis Stewart of Dexter, Becky Carney-Stuart of Anchorage, Alaska, and Brenda Elldred of Springfield; and two grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Wednesday at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services are scheduled for 1:30 p.m.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
