Novella Cornelison

BERNIE - Novella Jean Cornelison, 72, died Nov. 2, 2003, at the Missouri Southern Health Care in Dexter.

Born March 31, 1931, in Lavelle to the late Scott and Carrie Trammel Craft, she was a resident of Bernie where she was a member of the General Baptist Church.

On Jan. 16, 1959, in Bernie, she married Alva Elvis Cornelison, who preceded her in death on Aug. 1, 2001. Also preceding her in death was one sister, Jean Ayers.

Survivors include: two sons, William Craft of Tonopah, Ariz., and Scott Cornelison of Dexter; one brother, Dennis Craft of Cape Girardeau; three sisters, Lula Middleton of Radcliff, Ky., Junita Gibson of St. Francis, Ark., and Nell Brown of Bernie; and four grandchildren and one great-grandchild.

Visitation will be from 5-8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie where services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Arvil Edmonds will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
