Mozella Sanders

EAST PRAIRIE - Mozella Sanders, 73, died at 9:50 p.m. Sept. 20, 2003, at the Bertrand Nursing Facility.

Born Feb. 11, 1930, in Hickman, Ky., daughter of the late Eddie Watson and Inar Davis Watson Busby, she lived in Mississippi County most of her life.

On Nov. 5, 1950, at Dorena, she married Charles E. Sanders who preceded her in death on Jan. 30, 1999.

Survivors include: two sons, Eddie Sanders and Dickie Sanders of East Prairie; three daughters, Sharon Thomas, Barbara Hammontree and Pam Chance of East Prairie; two brothers, Billy Watson and Sonny Gammons of East Prairie; one sister, Audrella Kirby of East Prairie; and 12 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one son, Paul Dean Sanders; and one sister, Marie Sisk.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Shelby Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Jon Archie will officiate.

Burial will follow in East Prairie Memorial Park Cemetery.

Her nephews will serve as pallbearers.
