ESSEX - Isabelle Daniels, 85, died July 13, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.
Born March 15, 1918, in Wayton, Ark., daughter of the late Henry and Jencie Casey Henderson Allen, she moved to Missouri in 1948 and lived in Essex since 1970. She was a member of Emanuel Baptist Church in Dexter.
On March 3, 1935, she married Leonard Raymond Daniels who preceded her in death on March 5, 1971.
Survivors include: four sons, Clinton Daniels of Sikeston, Verlis Daniels of Picayune, Miss., and James Daniels and Alvie Daniels of Paragould, Ark.; seven daughters, Elwanda Maddox of Dexter, Oleta Whitley of Morehouse, Lela Rushing and Karen Ramsey of Essex, Mary Roberts of St. Louis, Janet Gallo of Fenton and Ruth Swope of Warrensburg; one brother, Paul Henderson of Deer, Ark.; three sisters, Lura Henderson of Deer, Ark., Norma Edgmon of Jasper, Ark., and Deliah Wilson of Joplin; and 36 grandchildren, 70 great-grandchildren and five great-great-grandchildren.
One son, John Daniels, preceded her in death on May 11, 2003.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at Watkins and Sons Funeral Home in Dexter.
Services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Wednesday at the Hickory Grove Church near Nail, Ark.
Burial will follow in the Hickory Grove Cemetery near Nail.
