Dorothy Weed

PORTAGEVILLE - Dorothy Mae Weed, 76, died Dec. 14, 2003, at the Molders Nursing Center in West Salem, Wis.

Born Sept. 17, 1927, in McEwin, Tenn., she was the daughter of the late Jim and Sudie Andrews Wilson.

On Jan. 31, 1945, at Caruthersville, she married Willie Weed who preceded her in death on Nov. 10, 2003.

Survivors include: one son, William J. Weed of Buchanan, Tenn.; two daughters, Patricia Ann Ball of Cherry Valley, Ill., and Shirley Mae Ball of Tomah, Wis.; one brother, Harold Wilson of Lilbourn; one sister, Colene Whittney of Rockford, Ill.; and seven grandchildren and 20 great-grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by one brother, James R. Wilson Jr.

Visitation is from 9 a.m. Thursday until service time at 11 a.m. at DeLisle Funeral Home. The Rev. Mark Inman will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Portageville Cemetery.
