Sarah McCarthy

RISCO - Sarah Ann McCarthy, 34, died March 9, 2003, of injuries sustained in an automobile accident.

Born July 2, 1968, in Galveston, Texas, daughter of James Cordell and Elizabeth Mae Siemons Morgan of Malden, she graduated from Bernie High School and was a member of the First Church of the Nazarene in Malden. She was a student at the Bootheel Education Center in Malden.

On May 31, 1987, in Bernie, she married Clarence Lynn McCarthy who survives of the home.

Survivors in addition to her husband and parents include: two sons, Tony McCarthy and Jason McCarthy of the home; four sisters, Laura Biano of Baytown, Texas, Jeanette Morgan of Hitchcock, Texas, Glynda Woffard of Santa Fe, Calif., and Augusta Allen of Malden; and two brothers, Cpl. James Morgan Jr. of Caruthersville and Chester Morgan of Malden.

Visitation begins at 6 p.m. today at Bradshaw Funeral Home in Malden, where services are scheduled for 11 a.m. Wednesday with the Rev. John Bowlby officiating.

Burial will follow in the Rosewood Cemetery at Malden.
