Lucille Lowman

HAYTI - Lucille Elizabeth Lowman, 76, died July 12, 2003, at Pemiscot Memorial Hospital in Hayti.

Born Dec. 31, 1926, in Pocahontas, Ark., daughter of the late Evie Mae Wyatt and Holland Nelson, she had attended the Church of Christ in Hayti.

In June 1942, she married David Leon Lowman who preceded her in death on June 30, 1968.

Survivors include: three sons, Donald Lowman of Cabot, Ark., Ronnie Lowman of Tyler, Texas, and Lee Lowman of Caruthersville; three brothers, Rondo Nelson of Williamsville, D.A. Nelson of Marston and Marvin Nelson of Gobbler; one sister, Violet Voss of St. Louis; and 12 grandchildren and 22 great-grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Tuesday. Ed Thomason, minister of the New Madrid Church of Christ, will officiate.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
