Linda Martin

NEW MADRID - Linda Ann Martin, 57, died Jan. 14, 2004, at her home.

Born March 22, 1946, in New Madrid, daughter of the late James and Ramona Watson Dyer, she was a nurse with the U.S. Air Force during the Vietnam era. She was a member of the New Madrid Pentecostal Church, where she served as treasurer of the ladies auxiliary.

On June 18, 1973, in Union City, Tenn., she married Bobby Martin who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons and daughters-in-law, Lee and Cindy of Liberty and Michael and Jana of New Madrid; three sisters, Carol Masterson of Murfreesboro, Tenn., Debbie Jordan of Monahan, Texas, and Jimmie Sue Whitehead of New Madrid; one brother, Paul Anthony Jones of Fruitland; and seven grandchildren.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Friday at Richards Funeral Home, where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Saturday. Paul Masterson will officiate.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
