Jeff Berry
QUINCY, Ill. - Clifford "Jeff" Berry, 75, formerly of Bloomfield, Mo., died Jan. 15, 2004, in Quincy.
Born Oct. 20, 1928, at Tiptonville, Tenn., son of the late Pete and Audrey Godwin Berry, he lived in the Bloomfield area most of his life before moving to Quincy a few years ago. He was a retired farmer and member of Mount Pisgah General Baptist Church in Aquilla, Mo.
On May 4, 1948, he married Maxine James who preceded him in death on March 1, 1993.
Survivors include: two sons, Terry Berry of Bloomfield and Jeffery Berry of Dexter; one daughter, Dianna Orr of Quincy; two brothers, Cliff Berry of Tiptonville and Greg Berry of Dyersburg, Tenn.; four sisters, Betty Hopper, Georgia Curvin and Verba Bramblett of Tiptonville and Evelyn Pierce of Dyersburg; and four grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Chiles-Cooper Funeral Home in Bloomfield, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Cotus James will officiate.
Burial will follow in the Walker Cemetery near Bloomfield.
