James Zuck

BERTRAND - James Barton Zuck, 61, formerly of New Madrid, died March 6, 2004, at his home.

Born June 21, 1942, in East Prairie, son of the late Warner and Dorothy Douglas Zuck, he was a farmer and U.S. Army veteran of the Vietnam War.

Survivors include: three daughters and sons-in-law, Cassandra and Kyle Hutcheson of East Prairie, Theresa and Frank Proffer of Bertrand and Tracy and Roger Morrow of Benton; three brothers, Truman Zuck of Bertrand, Donald Zuck of East Prairie and Stanley Zuck of Malden; one sister, Laverne Zepp of Winder, Ga.; and five grandchildren.

Services were conducted Monday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie with the Rev. Mitch Jackson officiating.

Brown Twitty American Legion Post 595 of New Madrid with the Missouri Military Honors Program conducted graveside rites at the Evergreen Cemetery in New Madrid.

Pallbearers were: Robert Williams, Kevin Zuck, Terry Zuck, Roger Hanner, Jimmy Minehart and Dennis Biggs.
