Floye Terrell

SIKESTON -- Floye L. Terrell, 92, died at 2:16 p.m. June 9, 2004, at her daughter's home in Sikeston.

Born May 18, 1912, in Ballard County, Ky., daughter of the late Charles and Lady Elrod Skinner, she was a homemaker and of the Baptist belief.

On May 7, 1928, in Charleston, she married William D. Terrell Jr., who preceded her in death on Sept. 29, 1987.

Survivors include: two sons, Charlie Terrell and Jerry Terrell of Sikeston; three daughters, Allene Weekley of Sikeston, Lois Parrott of Imperial and Sarah Craig of Alexandria, La.; one sister, Gladys Francis of Sikeston; and 15 grandchildren, 19 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

One son, two daughters, four brothers and one sister also preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Nunnelee Funeral Chapel, where services will be at 1 p.m. Friday. The Rev. Kelley Grubbs, pastor of Murray Lane Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Ray Livingston, Brooks Pratt, Tom St. Cin, Rick St. Cin, Glen Alexander and Darren Skinner.

Honorary pallbearers will be Richard Sterling, Steven Ulmer and Chuck Hill.
