Bill Moit
ZALMA - William H. "Bill" Moit, 94, died June 1, 2004, at the Puxico Nursing Center.
Born April 17, 1910, at Chaffee, son of the late William H. Moit, he retired as a railroad worker and had also been a farmer.
On May 1, 1945, in Greene County, Ark., he married Mary Nation who preceded him in death on June 30, 1999.
Survivors include: four sons, Doyle Moit of Lebanon, Mo., Larry Moit of Benton, Billy Moit of Bonne Terre and Ronnie Moit of Zalma; four daughters, Georgia Snider of Chaffee, Peggy Wiseman of Advance, Gailene Childres of Alabama and Sharon Tackett of Sturdivant; one brother, George Moit of Benton; and 24 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Two sons and one grandson also preceded him in death.
Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home in Advance where services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Friday. The Rev. Norman Elledge will officiate.
Burial will follow in the McGee New Hope Cemetery at McGee.
