Becky Glueck

ORAN - Becky Lu Glueck, 48, died Nov. 3, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 10, 1955, in Franklin, Neb., to Jacqueline Netz McAtee of Greenville and the late Ralph Loyal McAtee Sr., she was the secretary for the Guardian Angel Catholic School and the Guardian Angel Catholic Credit Union in Oran. A member of the Guardian Angel Catholic Church in Oran, she was also a member of the St. Ann Sodality.

On Sept. 20, 1980, she married Marvin L. Glueck, who survives of the home in Oran.

Surviving in addition to her mother and husband are: two sons, Gregory Glueck and Cletus Glueck of Oran; three daughters, Angela Phillips and Lenore Glueck of Morley and Sarah Glueck of Oran; seven brothers, Richard McAtee, Ron McAtee and Robert McAtee of Advance, Ralph Loyal McAtee Jr. and William McAtee Sr. of Greenville, Paul McAtee of Festus and John McAtee of Piedmont; four sisters, Evalyn Camden of Norfolk, Va., Alice Amelunke of Glendale, Ariz., Claire Ostrander of Cornelis, Ore., and Kathy Elfrink of Advance; and three grandchildren.

Visitation will begin at 4 p.m. Wednesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Oran where parish prayers will be recited at 7 p.m. with Knights of Columbus prayers set for 7:15 p.m. Wednesday. Funeral services are scheduled for 10 a.m. Thursday at the Guardian Angel Catholic Church with the Rev. John Harth officiating.

Burial will follow in the Guardian Angel Catholic Church Cemetery.
