Beryl Blunt

DEXTER - Beryl Blunt, 72, died March 3, 2002, at the Crowley Ridge Care Center.

Born Jan. 23, 1930, at Dexter, son of the late Homer and Vern Canady Williams, she was a former payroll clerk with Elder Manufacturing in Dexter.

On June 11, 1948, in Dexter, she married Lorane Blunt, who survives of the home in Dexter.

Also surviving are: one son, Scott Blunt of Dexter; one daughter, Sharon Kay Jones of Memphis, Tenn.; one brother, Bob Williams of Swartz Creek, Mich.; two sisters, Reva Lee Lintz of Bloomfield and Erma Catrett of Stockton, Ala.; and five grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one brother, Beauett Williams, and one sister, Mary Ellen Barnes.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at the Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Dexter where services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Tuesday. The Rev. Kevin Eskew will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Sadler Chapel Cemetery.
