Louise Friese

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Mildred "Louise" Friese, 70, died at 3:15 a.m. March 2, 2002, at the St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born March 7, 1931, at Ancell, daughter of the late Homer Charles Davis and Ida Adeline Kern, she worked as a food service supervisor for Southeast Missouri Hospital, bookkeeper for PeeWee Erlbacher and a receptionist for Universal Physique.

On Dec. 24, 1949, at Illmo, she married Norval Melford Friese who survives of the home.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by one son, Doug Friese of Cape Girardeau; one brother, Bill Davis of Scott City; a half-sister, Imogene Mayberry of Cape Girardeau; and three grandchildren.

One son, one brother and one sister preceded her in death.

Visitation is from 4 to 8 p.m. today at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Visitation will continue from noon Tuesday at LaCroix United Methodist Church in Cape Girardeau until time of services at 1 p.m. with the Rev. Ron Watts officiating.

Burial will follow in the Cape County Memorial Park.
