CHARLESTON - Allen Lavelle Mason, 38, died June 26, 2007, at the VA Tennessee Valley Health Care Systems-Nashville Campus.
Born Nov. 6, 1968, in Charleston, son of Marzelle Mason Cross, he was a member of the 1986 graduating class of Charleston High School. He served from 1987 to 1992 with the U.S. Marines and was pursuing a degree in computer analysis. He was of the Baptist belief.
In addition to his mother, survivors include: one son, Brandon Rogers of Charleston; one brother, Gregory Mason of Murfreesboro, Tenn.; and two sisters, Sandra Mason of Laverne, Tenn., and Audrey K. Cross of St. Louis.
Visitation is from 6 p.m. until time of services at 7 p.m. Thursday at the Williams Funeral Home in Charleston. Charles Ivy will officiate.
Burial with full military rites will be conducted Friday morning at the Missouri Veterans Cemetery in Bloomfield.
