DUDLEY - Michael Lee Fuqua, 38, formerly of Dexter, died March 29, 2002, at his mother's home in Dexter.

Born Nov. 28, 1963, in Oklahoma City, Okla., son of Eva Lee Kilmer Fuqua of Dexter and the late Dale Fuqua, he had lived most of his life in Dexter and was a veteran of the U.S. Navy.

On April 4, 1996, in Piggott, Ark., he married Debbie Morey, who survives of Dudley.

Other survivors include: one son, Caleb Dale Fuqua of Dudley; one daughter, Caitlin Lee Fuqua of Dudley; three step-daughters, Stephanie Hagan of Dexter, April Hagan of Dudley and Amy Hagan of Poplar Bluff; and one brother, Gary Fuqua of Bloomfield.

Friends may call from 9-11 a.m. Monday at the Watkins and Son Funeral Home in Dexter.

Graveside services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at the Dexter Cemetery with the Rev. Chuck Hull of Puxico officiating.

Burial will follow in the Dexter Cemetery.
