Mike Harvell

ANNISTON - Mike Harvell, 58, died March 28, 2002, at his home.

Born July 21, 1944, at Charleston, son of the late John Wesley and Eva Mae Jones Harvell, he had lived in Mississippi County most of his life and was employed by Moore's Landing in Wyatt until retiring in June 1998. He was a member of the Church of Christ in Charleston

On Sept. 7, 1968, he married Sharon Kaye Steward who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son and daughter-in-law, John Wesley and Tami Harvell of Charleston; one daughter, Laura Michelle Harvell of St. Louis; two brothers, Tim "Tony" Harvell of Charleston and Noah Summers of Brook Park, Ohio; two sisters, Leola Gunter of Piedmont and Patricia Harvell of Mahtomedi, Minn.

Visitation will be held after 5 p.m. Saturday at Shelby Funeral Home in East Prairie where services are scheduled for 2 p.m. Sunday with the Rev. Bill Bradley officiating.

Burial will follow in the Anniston Cemetery.
