Lynn Deimund

CAPE GIRARDEAU - Lynn May Deimund, 94, died at 5:05 p.m. March 30, 2002, at the Fountainbleau Lodge in Cape Girardeau.

Born July 13, 1907, in New Hamburg, to the late Jiles "William" Jones and Lillie Jane Hockersmith, she was a homemaker.

On June 7, 1929, she married Leonard Workman, who preceded her in death Oct. 13, 1979. She later married Dennis Deimund, who also preceded her in death.

Also one son, one daughter, two brothers, four sisters, one grandchild and one great-grandchild preceded her in death.

Survivors include: one son, Eddie Workman of Scott City; one stepson, Gary Deimund of St. Louis; three daughters, June DeLay of Sikeston, Velda Anderson of Morley and Dottie Jungers of Scott City; one sister, Hazel McClelland of Minneapolis, Minn.; and 17 grandchildren, 26 great-grandchildren and six great-great-grandchildren.

Friends may call from 5 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City where services are scheduled at 2 p.m. Wednesday with the Rev. Gerald Penn officiating.

Burial will follow in the Lightner Cemetery at Scott City.
