Emma Lee Moore

ROLLA - Emma Lee Moore, 90, formerly of Canalou, died March 7, 2003, at the Rolla Manor Care Center.

Born Nov. 14, 1912, in the state of Texas, to the late Joseph and Mary Hosek Suska, she and her husband owned and operated Moore's Grocery for many years. In June 1982, she moved to Rolla where she was a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church, VFW Auxiliary Post 2025, American Legion Auxiliary Post 270 and served as a senior companion.

On Sept. 13, 1942, in Canalou, she married Walter "Bert" Moore, who preceded her in death on Jan. 29, 1977. Also eight brothers and sisters and a foster grandson preceded her in death.

Survivors include her foster family: Linda and Jack Frost, Jason Frost, Lori Frost, Jeff Frost, Mr. and Mrs. Nick Frost and family, Mr. and Mrs. Mark Janos and family, Mr. and Mrs. Patrick Frost and Chris Frost and family of Rolla; Mr. and Mrs. Lee Adams and family of Ocala, Fla.; and Greg Frost of the state of Florida.

Graveside services are scheduled at 1 p.m. Tuesday at the Sikeston City Cemetery in Sikeston under the direction of Null and Son Funeral Home in Rolla.
