Margaret Cope

SCOTT CITY - Margaret Francis Cope, 60, died at 7 a.m. March 4, 2002, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 30, 1941, in Cape Girardeau, daughter of M. Madeline Bader of Zalma and the late Alvin Ray Stoffregen, she was a member of the Church of Christ in Scott City.

On July 25, 1957, at Cape Girardeau, she married Daniel Jessie Cope who survives of the home.

She is also survived by one son, Danny Cope of Scott City; and one grandchild.

Visitation is scheduled for 4 to 8 p.m. today at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Scott City.

Graveside services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Thursday at Lightner Memorial Cemetery.
