Amney Franks
BLUE SPRINGS - Amney May Riley Franks, 69, died March 4, 2002, at he home.
Born July 30, 1932, in Greenville, Miss., daughter of the late D.B. and Amney Haynes Riley, she graduated in 1950 from Kewanee High School and attended the University of Missouri-Columbia and Southeast Missouri State University in Cape Girardeau. She was an office manager for a real estate firm and a member of the United Methodist Church.
Her husband, Zane Franks, survives of the home.
Other survivors include: two daughters, Martha Moore of Bellevue, Neb., and Beth Dietz of Papillion, Neb.; one son, Bill Moore of Gladstone; one brother, Floyd Amos Riley of New Madrid; three sisters, Sarah Lee Hunter and Edna Ellington of New Madrid and Margie Straka of Magnolia, Texas; and two grandchildren.
Two brothers, George Haynes Riley and D.B. Riley III, preceded her in death.
Graveside services will be conducted at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Evergreen Cemetery with Leland Butler, a retired Methodist minister, officiating.
Richards Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
