Brian Rickman

BENTON - Brian W. Rickman, 25, died March 4, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center in Sikeston.

Born Nov. 11, 1976, in Dexter, son of Peggy Darlene Williams of Benton and Charles Edward Rickman of Forrest City, Ark., he had been employed as a welder for Wheeler Trailers in Morley. He was of the Church of God belief.

Survivors in addition to his parents include: his stepfather, Jerry Weems of Benton; two brothers, Carl Edward Rickman and Joseph Keith Rickman of Sikeston; one stepbrother, William "Sonny" Hammer of Fulton; one stepsister, Betty Amanda Rhodes of Sikeston; his maternal grandmother, Wretha Minton of Bernie; his paternal grandparents, Woody and Emma Rickman of Lilbourn; and his great-grandmother, Dorothy Jenson of Santa Ana, Calif.

One brother, Steven Lynn Rickman, preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. today at Rainey-Mathis Funeral Home in Bernie, where services are scheduled for 1 p.m. Thursday with the Rev. Darrell Pollock, officiating.

Burial will follow in the Bernie Cemetery.
