Riley Wheat

HOLTS SUMMIT -- Riley Joseph Wheat, son of Duke and Sarah Sherrod Wheat of Holts Summit, died at birth Dec. 13, 2004, at the Capital Regional Medical Center in Jefferson City.

Surviving in addition to his parents are his paternal grandparents, Dennis Wheat Sr. and Melody Cameron of Holts Summit; maternal grandparents, Charles E. and Connie Sherrod of Sikeston and Sheila R. Kirk of Columbia; his paternal great-grandfather, Jesse Wheat of Holts Summit; and maternal great-grandparents, Virginia Sherrod and Bill and Lois Kirk, all of Sikeston.

He was preceded in death by his paternal great-grandmother, Vanita Wheat; and maternal great-grandfather, J.D. Sherrod.

Visitation is from 10:30 a.m. Friday until service time at 11 a.m. at the Old Bethel Baptist Church in Sikeston. The Rev. Amos Johnson of East Prairie will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Old Bethel Cemetery.
