Faye Richardson

SIKESTON - Thelma Faye Richardson, 81, died Aug. 28, 2002, at Missouri Delta Medical Center.

Born May 27, 1921, in Blodgett, daughter of the late John Henry and Stella Ethel Salyer Thompson, she was a member of Murray Lane Baptist Church. She was an operator for Southwestern Bell Telephone Company for 35 years before retiring.

Survivors include: two sons, Gary Lee Mize of Morley and John Kevin Richardson of Sikeston; one stepson, Jerry Allen Richardson of Memphis, Tenn.; one sister, Helen Frances Wood of Sikeston; and four grandchildren.

Visitation is from 10 a.m. Friday until service time at 2 p.m. at Ponder Funeral Home. The Rev. Larry Davis, pastor of Trinity Gospel Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the New Morley Cemetery at Morley.
