Howard Lacey

SCOTT CITY - Howard Louis Lacey, 60, died June 12, 2003, at Southeast Missouri Hospital in Cape Girardeau.

Born Aug. 23, 1942, in Elvins, son of the late Stanley Louis and Edith Howell Lacey, he had been a maintenance technician for Louis Brothers Bakery and was currently employed by the City of Scott City.

On June 15, 1962, at Doe Run, he married Leslie Ella Holmes who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: two sons, Kevin Lacey and Greg Lacey of Scott City; one daughter, Teri Hill of Benton; two brothers, Clyde Lacey of Puxico and Bob Lacey of Bismark; two sisters, Margaret Harter of Farmington and Shirley Smith of Perryville; and six grandchildren.

One son preceded him in death.

No visitation is scheduled.

Graveside services were conducted at 3:30 p.m. Saturday at the Williams Cemetery in Perkins with the Rev. Barry Pfanstiel officiating.

Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel of Scott City was in charge of arrangements.
