James West

DALLAS, Texas - James Crawford "Bud" West, 29, died Aug. 21, 2003, in Dallas.

Born Feb. 16, 1974, in Dexter, Mo., he was the son of Iva Jane "Peanut" Owens of Lilbourn, Mo., and the late Maurice "Bud" West.

Survivors in addition to his mother include: his grandmother, Mary Ada Ervin of Lilbourn; one brother and sister-in-law, Hubert and Teresa Nelson of Bonham; three sisters and two brothers-in-law, Mary "Penny" Randolph of Lake Tawakoni, Sarah "Nickie" and Gary Rudd of Sherman and Cordie Janette "Twinky" and Timmy Farmer of Lilbourn; one stepbrother and sister-in-law, Christopher and Cynthia Owen of Dexter; two nieces, Jamie Rudd of Dennison and Maria Randolph of Lake Tawakoni; four nephews, Roy Rudd of Sherman, Allen Randolph of Dallas and Roy Dean Randolph, Michael Randolph and Matthew Randolph of Lake Tawakoni; and several aunts, uncles, cousins, loved ones, friends and acquaintances.

Three grandfathers preceded him in death.

Services will be conducted at 10 a.m. Saturday at Ponder Funeral Home in Lilbourn.

Burial will follow in Mounds Park Cemetery near Lilbourn.
