DEXTER -- Bobbie Dean Ford, 62, died at 4:10 a.m. April 21, 2005, at Elvis Presley Memorial Trauma Center in Memphis, Tenn.

Born July 17, 1942, in Scott County, son of the late William Clyde and Cecil Geraldine Salyers Ford, he was an auto body repairman and of the Baptist belief.

Survivors include: three sons, Vincent Ford and Timothy Ford of Millersville, Tenn., and William Clyde Ford of Cedar Creek, Texas; four daughters and two sons-in-law, Constance Kinard and Shannon and Jim Dunagan of Benton, Ill., Shelly Simpson of Florence, Texas, and Bobbie Jill and Michael Sherrod of Rockledge, Fla.; three brothers, Dorsey Ford of Boynton Beach, Fla., Dan Ford of Sikeston and Joe Ford of Poplar Bluff; five sisters, Wanda Dirickson and Shirley Coleman of Sikeston, Charlotte Ford of Murray, Ky., Carolyn Bourcier of Flint, Mich., and Linda Dovers of Austin, Texas; and 20 grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.

Three brothers also preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5 to 8 p.m. Sunday at Blanchard Funeral Chapel in Sikeston, where services will be at 2 p.m. Monday. The Rev. Dewayne Coleman, pastor of Canalou Baptist Church, will officiate.

Burial will follow in the Garden of Memories Cemetery at Sikeston.
