Odell Long

ADVANCE - Arnold "Odell" Long, 75, died March 21, 2003, at St. Francis Medical Center in Cape Girardeau.

Born Feb. 20, 1928, at Scopus, son of the late Marshall and Hester Limbaugh Long, he was a retired farmer.

On Oct. 14, 1949, in Advance, he married Louise McIntosh who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: one son, Wally Long of Zalma; one brother, James Long of Bloomfield; two sisters, Violetta Vavak of Missouri and Mary Turner of Mississippi; and one grandchild and two great-grandchildren.

Two brothers and two sisters preceded him in death.

Visitation is from 5:30 to 8 p.m. today at Morgan Funeral Home, where services will be conducted at 1 p.m. Tuesday with Billy Davis, officiating.

Burial will follow in Morgan Memorial Park.
