Margie Cayton

POINT PLEASANT - Margie Marie Cayton, 79, died June 11, 2003, at her home.

Born Nov. 29, 1923, in Portageville, she was the daughter of the late Gentry and Jo Newhouse Anders.

On July 16, 1939, in Portageville, she married Ben Cayton who survives of the home.

Other survivors include: three sons, Bobby Cayton of West Memphis, Ark., Jack Cayton of Point Pleasant and Elvis Cayton of Portageville; four daughters, Susie Rhoades of Point Pleasant, Barbara Kimes of Atoka, Tenn., JoAnne O'Guinn of Sikeston and Nis Quick of Anna, Ill.; one sister, Donnie Quick of Point Pleasant; and 25 grandchildren, 35 great-grandchildren and nine great-great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by one son, Robert Cayton; one daughter, Roxanna Cayton; one brother, Joseph Anders; and two grandchildren

Services were conducted Saturday at DeLisle Funeral Home in Portageville, with Dr. Tom Walls officiating.

Burial followed in the Portageville Cemetery.

Pallbearers were: John C. Lane, Rusty Brandenberg, Louie Brandenburg, Richie Ivie, Mark Thacker and Bryan Johnson.
