Coletta Heisserer

NEW HAMBURG - Coletta Louise Heisserer, 86, died at 7:14 p.m. June 14, 2003, at the Chaffee Nursing Center.

Born Oct. 7, 1916, in Kelso, daughter of the late Joe and Elizabeth Enderle Glastetter, she was a member of St. Lawrence Catholic Church and St. Ann Sodality in New Hamburg.

On Nov. 22, 1938, she married Joseph Phillip Heisserer who survives of the home.

Survivors include: four sons, Joe A. Heisserer, Elmer Heisserer and Ralph Heisserer of New Hamburg and Tom Heisserer of Jackson; four daughters, Dorothy Menz of New Hamburg, Anna Bollinger of Scott City, Helen Cleary of Jackson and Kathy Boesch of Oak Hill, Va.; and 29 grandchildren, three stepgrandchildren, 28 great-grandchildren, nine stepgreat-grandchildren and one stepgreat-great-grandchild.

Six brothers and four sisters preceded her in death.

Visitation begins at 4 p.m. Tuesday at Amick-Burnett Funeral Chapel in Chaffee, where parish prayers are scheduled for 7 p.m.

A funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Wednesday at St. Lawrence Catholic Church with the Rev. Normand Varone, officiating.

Burial will follow in the St. Lawrence Catholic Cemetery.

Pallbearers will be: Shawn Heisserer, Scott Heisserer, Don Bollinger, Russell Cleary, Todd Heisserer, Kevin Menz, Jason Boesch and Kenric Heisserer.
